Andornino on China-Italy deepening relationships
Giovanni Andornino shares his view on the recent visit of the President of the Italian Senate to China as a milestone in the deepening of Italy-China relationship at all levels.
Dr. Giovanni B. Andornino is Assistant Professor of International Relations of East Asia at the University of Torino, where he heads the TOChina Centre on IR and Area Studies on contemporary China. At T.wai Giovanni is Vice President and Head of Research for Emerging Actors, working on Sino-Italian relations and China’s domestic politics and foreign policy. He is the Editor of the OrizzonteCina by-monthly e-journal and of The China Companion. His most recent publications include “Italy’s Encounters with Modern China: imperial dreams, strategic ambitions” (Palsgrave Macmillan 2014) and articles featuring on “Mediterranean Quarterly”, “ItalianiEuropei”, and “Formiche”.
