Sant’Anna on “Italy-China Science and Technology”

The second edition of “Italy-China Science and Technology,” the newsletter of the Italian Scientific Councillors in China, has come out. In the event section, also the agreement between Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, Chongqing University and Bishan District for the development of the “Sino-Italian Innovation Base-Camp.”

As the editorial starts, in a scenario where the majority of industrialized countries, including the United States, are reducing research and development spending, China is an important exception. During China’s “two sessions” in Beijing, Premier Li Keqiang underlined the driving role that scientific and technological research and innovation represent for the economy among the country’s nine priorities.
