Our Executive Director, as a member or the “Association of Italian Scholars in China“, met with Minister of Education, University and Research Prof. Lorenzo Fioramonti at the Italian Embassy in Beijing.

The meeting was characterized by a constructive conversation in which the Association and its members’ activities were presented as well as the opportunities and criticalities of Italian academics in China.

2020 will be a strategic year: not only will China and Italy celebrate 50 years from the opening of diplomatic relations, but it will also be the Sino-Italian Year of Culture and Tourism. The Association therefore intends to contribute in the best possible way to the success of the Italian System in China, thanks to a widespread network of scholars throughout China.
